Emily Hannigan

Ph.D. Student

I am a first year MS/PhD student in the Robotic Manipulation and Mobility lab. I am currently experimenting with neural networks on data acquired from the ROAM lab's tactile sensors in order to extract an accurate position of touch. I graduated with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 2016. My undergraduate thesis involved designing a tactile sensor array for detecting shapes. Further details can be found on my LinkedIn page.
