Directions

We are located on the 2nd floor of the Mudd Engineering building (circled in red on the map below), on the NE corner of Columbia's Morningside campus. There are two ways of entering the Mudd building, both shown by red arrows:

• Through the street entrance on 500 W 120th St. (close to the intersection of 120th St. and Amsterdam Avenue). If you enter through here, you will be on the 1st floor of the building.
• Through the campus entrance. For this option, you can enter the campus through the main gates at 116th St. and Broadway (next to the 1 Subway line), then walk through campus to the NE corner and find the Mudd entrance. If you enter through campus, you will be on the 4th floor of the Mudd building.

For either of these options, after entering Mudd, take the stairs or the elevator to the 2nd floor. Our lab is Room 240A, on the main corridor. Matei's office is Room 228 - find the Mechanical Engineering Department main lobby (double doors with a large Mechanical Engineering sign above), and ask for directions at the front desk.
